Grammy, Dove and Stellar award nominated songwriter, producer, artist, director and author, Joe Pace has established himself as one of the nation’s most prolific church songwriters and choir directors, with many of his songs becoming Sunday morning worship standards. Pace is a 30-year industry veteran, with well over 500,000 career album sales, spanning 20 full-length projects and numerous compilations. His anointed style, production, and keen focus on church suitable worship, have certainly solidified his place as a true legend in the gospel music industry.
An ordained minister, Joe Pace was the Director/CEO of the award-winning Colorado Mass Choir, and the CEO and President of The PACE Group, a multi-faceted music ministry corporation that includes production, publishing, and conference/workshop divisions. Minister Pace’s first consideration is always to ministry at the local level and has well over 30 years of experience serving in both music and pastoral ministry in small, medium and mega-church paradigms, and he currently serves as the Executive Pastor | Pastor of Worship & Community Engagement at Christ Church Chicago. He also received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Aenon Bible College, recognizing all his years of exceptional work in ministry.
One of the nation’s most prolific church songwriters, Joe Pace has penned numerous Top 10 songs including, “Watch God Move,” the popular worship anthem “We Worship You”, “Shake The Foundation”, “I Will Bless The Lord At All Times”, “Speak Life”, the radio mega-hit, "Glad about It", “Hallelujah Anyhow”, “High and Lifted Up” and “And We Are Glad”, just to name a few. His songs have been sung by the likes of Fred Hammond, Erica Campbell, Daryl Coley, Rance Allen, LaShun Pace, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Lowell Pye, Isaac Carree, Jekalyn Carr, and many others. His music has indeed become a mainstay in Sunday Morning Worship services all over the world. As an artist, producer, and songwriter he created a line of praise and worship music resources for the church. The “Joe Pace Presents” product line includes the Multi- Award nominated albums: Joe Pace Presents… Let There Be Praise, Shake The Foundation, Sunday Morning Service, Worship For The Kingdom, and the latest in the series. Joe Pace Presents… Praise For The Sanctuary. All have won critical acclaim for their technical excellence and their “usability” by local churches.
Joe may be best known for his amazing work with the award winning Colorado Mass Choir (responsible for choir hit songs like: “Stir Up The Gift”, “Still Have Joy”, and “So Good”), with 6 projects to their credit including – The Grammy and Dove Nominated Speak Life project. He’s also at the production helm for a “live” worship project for mega-church Faithful Central Bible Church out of Los Angeles, CA, and a Double-CD and DVD anniversary project entitled Mighty Long Way. Additionally, Joe Pace Presents: H.B. Charles Jr. & The Shiloh Church Choir, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top Gospel Album Chart, featuring his former pastor and church choir out of Jacksonville, FL, was the first of 5 projects he produced (including 2 solo projects for the Pastor, a children’s project, and a history making cross-cultural choir project with Sovereign Grace Music) for the church’s record label Shiloh Worship, for which he also served as General Manager. His latest project, Joe Pace 25, celebrates over 25 Years in the music industry with brand new music, and revisiting some of his classic hits!
Dr. Pace's experience and intense scriptural understanding of music ministry, as well as his amazing ability to clearly articulate both the spiritual and practical principles of music ministry, multi-cultural worship and music ministry organization/administration, has rendered him a phenomenal teacher and one of the most sought after workshop clinicians and speakers in the country. He has ministered to, and helped to grow and nurture literally hundreds of music ministers and music ministries all over the world. Formerly on the editorial board for Worship Leader magazine with his own recurring column, Pastor Pace was also a lecturer/teacher for Integrity Music’s Seminars4Worship for several years, and a regular guest lecturer for conferences like, the Gospel Heritage Praise & Worship Conference, the Gettys Sing! Conference, and Sovereign Grace’s WorshipGod Conference. Further, he has authored his first book entitled, From Performance To Praise… Moving Music Ministry To The Next Level.
